Regional Educational Consortium

The Regional Educational Consortium (REC) was created to assist service area school divisions in providing quality professional development programs for all of their personnel. Targeting the areas of leadership, instruction, technology, and support, the REC provides year-round training opportunities for personnel from all participating school divisions. In addition, the REC serves as an information provider regarding college courses for credit which may be used for licensure renewal, endorsement, and areas of interest. Specifically developed programs created to meet individual schools or divisions needs, are also available.

Summer 2013 Professional Development Program

These sessions represent requested topics by our region's educators. We are excited about these offerings and encourage you to register for as many as you would like BUT not more than a total of FOUR days' worth of sessions. Please take time in selecting your sessions and ONLY register (by selecting the SUBMIT button at the end of the registration process) ONCE for each session.

You cannot "un-enroll" from a session using this on-line process. Notify hdawson@rappahannock.edu if you are unable to attend your session.

Please return to this website for information about your session. Two more sessions will be added in the future for physical education teachers and pre-school teachers. Also, more information will be added to the "Traveling and Learning - A History Lesson" sessions. Specific room numbers for sessions will be posted the week of July 29. However, campus locations are already indicated in the registration information.

Thank you for your support for these programs...choose wisely!
